Qualification Outline:
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community sector who are middle managers or managers. These individuals work independently and report to executive management, directors, or management boards. They perform a variety of responsibilities that necessitate the application of knowledge and abilities in order to generate results that are consistent with the organization’s goals and strategic directives.
Workers at this level are responsible for service delivery planning and monitoring, recruiting and performance management of other paid or unpaid workers, risk management, and contributing to continuous improvement within the boundaries of their specialized function. Administration of a specific program or project, as well as overall administration of a community-based organization, early childhood education service, not-for-profit organization, or community center, may be included.

Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisites to enter this training program. However, Arizona College has set entry requirements for prospective students according to the following criteria:
Students:
- must be 18 years, or older
- must complete LLN test and satisfactorily achieve ACSF level 3* or above, to enrol in this qualification
- must be an Australian resident, or hold a current and valid visa with study rights
* ACSF Level 3 is equivalent to completion of senior secondary school studies.
Duration
This course is scheduled to be completed in up to 52 weeks, depending on the learner’s relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
